Responsibilities include leading on marketing for all Energy Efficient Scotland: Area Based Schemes (EES: ABS) projects, coordinating creation of photography and video assets, copy writing and editing across a wide range of channels (such as press releases, direct marketing, social media and web copy, case studies, e-comms, radio adverts and advice resources). I supported Changeworks' full rebrand in 2023 and was awarded the Changeworks Innovation award in 2022 for implementation of a B2B marketing strategy and campaign.Key interests include implementing plain English and increasing accessibility across all forms of communications.

Conference Partners International is a leading congress management company offering a solution-based approach to support in the organisation of meetings and events. I managed incoming enquiries from both national and international clients. Key to the role was account management, the creation of proposals and bids, presentation delivery, and key stakeholder management and liaison.I oversaw the company's marketing activity, including digital marketing planning and strategy, content creation and copy writing and the delivery of regular marketing and communication activities.

Edinburgh's Destination Management Organisation, Marketing Edinburgh is dedicated to promoting Edinburgh to the world. I work to promote the city as a destination for events to association, incentive and corporate clients, both nationally and internationally through activities such as sales trips, hosting residential familiarisation events, marketing campaigns and account management.

Tasked with running and growing sales for a young company in an exciting industry, I was the sole sales representative at Roots Soda Co. During my time with the company, I implemented a sales strategy which successfully increased company sales and customers accounts across Scotland and the North of England. A role heavy on customer relations and brand management, I initiated a series of tasting events with local stockists in order to build relations with trader customers and end users. I managed the company's social media accounts and also introduced a successful blog series in order to promote brand awareness and customer engagement.I was also involved in product development, product photography and editing, creating content and copy for social media platforms - all with lots of soda tasting thrown in.

This part-time role provided invaluable experience and insight into the food and drinks industry. I was involved with managing sales pipelines, communicating with accounts and copy-writing for the company's social media.

Through Edinburgh First, Pollock Halls of Residence acts as Scotland's largest B&B during the summer months. As a member of the reception team I was the first port of call for customers and customer service was the main focus of this role.Other duties included working both alone and as a team, counting and handling cash, providing advice and information, developing and maintaining successful customer relationships and the smooth-running of the workplace.At times responsible for the management and leadership of the reception team, problem solving and liaising with other departments of the business.

I volunteered for the National Trust for Scotland as a Volunteer Researcher for the Development section of the charity. Tasked with researching community links and donors to aid the promotion and preservation of various sites across Scotland. I researched and created a presentation on the history of Inveresk Garden and Lodge which was used at a musical performance by the Trust.Full access to the Trust digital and photo archives and library was provided.

I worked with a team of fellow volunteers in autumn 2012 to carry out a survey regarding how economically significant the public views World Heritage sites. Some of these interviews were carried out in French and Spanish.

I volunteered as a room steward at Blickling Hall in Norfolk during my A-level studies. I informed visitors about the history, conservation and upkeep of the house and answered routine enquiries. I was responsible for overseeing the display of private collections on days when they were made available for public viewing. I would also provide additional information regarding their history.
