The Kootenay Boundary Community Services Co-operative’s mission is to work together to strengthen the capacity of each member agency through cooperation and collaboration.

InspireHealth helps people affected by cancer in enhancing their quality of life and well-being by integrating wisdom and evidence-informed practices that support mind, body and spirit. Clinical Services are provided by a team of physicians, nutritionists, clinical counsellors and exercise therapists and are completely free.

- Managed Chapter's $1.4M revenue budget and oversaw 120 unique wishes granted annually to local children battling critical illnesses.- Represented Chapter at various speaking engagements, one-on-one donor meetings, networking events, and media interviews.- Oversaw Chapter Advisory Board, leveraging members' networks to raise funds and awareness.- Led hiring, management, onboarding, and training of Chapter staff.- Socialized and locally advanced amalgamation with Make-A-Wish Foundation of Canada.- Collaborated with senior leadership team, developed new organization policies through participation on Partnership Workstream for merged organization.- Introduced updated solicitor tracking process to encourage collaboration within revenue development team.

- Managed development team and fundraising portfolio consisting of special events, community events, major gifts, corporate giving.- Directed significant Night of Wonders Gala revenue growth ($275,000 in 2016 to $550,000 in 2018) by focusing on securing major gifts and setting event apart.- Supported More Wishes, More Wonders major giving campaign alongside Provincial Director, soliciting gifts and stewarding donors, assisted with largest-ever Chapter pledge.

-Manage Chapter's third party fundraisers (20+).-Represent organization at third party events (public speaking, event support and leadership, volunteer management).-Solicit new fundraising events.-Support other fundraising streams including first party events, service groups and individual donors.

Scotiabank & BC SPCA Paws for a Cause Event-Logistical and event-day lead on flagship walk which raises more than $240,000 annually and has 1,200 attendees.-Created a new fundraising incentive model in collaboration with the special events team.Other-Responsible for soliciting businesses for prizing, gifts-in-kind, community vendors and more.-Coordinated and scheduled volunteers for small to large events (100+).-Collaborated on updating marketing materials and strategies for several campaigns.-Coordinated the special fundraising program which included third party events, tribute gifts, wedding program and certain cause marketing initiatives.

-Contributed to the logistical and creative planning of the Parade of Trees annual fundraiser.-Solicited items for silent auction and prizing.-Recruited and coordinated volunteers.
