I started in this company as a dog handler, spending the main part of my day studying and managing pack behavior and experimenting with different training techniques and methods. Over the years, opportunities arose in the company to grow, and by the time I moved on I had been in charge of creating the staff schedule, hiring and training new employees, dealing directly with the customers in person and over the phone, managing the company's social media pages, filing payroll, and the remodel of the facility.

During my employment, my colleagues and I worked on a campaign to protect pollinators from the negative effects of neonicotinoid pesticides. The organization's goal was to place a moratorium on this particular kind of chemical so that their researchers could gather and produce more evidence regarding the ways neonicotinoids interact with pollinators, with the soil, and with humans as well. The organization was funded by its members, so fundraisers were in charge of engaging the public directly and educating them about the plight of our pollinators.
