I began working at Rolls-Royce as an apprentice in September 2013 after completing my GCSE's at a UTC. Since then I have had some amazing opportunities, being able to experience a wide variety of job roles as I have moved between placements in the company, gain an array of skills ranging from practical manufacturing skills to communication and presentation skills. following completing my apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3 I have moved into a role as a Manufacturing Engineer offering shop floor support to make sure that parts progress through the shop on time and ensuring that critical paperwork is completed. As part of my role as a young woman beginning my engineering career I am also proud to be able to support and organise STEM activities to be able to ensure the next generation of engineers are inspired.
