I am a 4th year Indiana University Hutton Honors and School of Education student pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Education, with a focus in Social Studies (B.S.Ed.), and Minors in African American and African Diaspora Studies as well as Child and Adolescent Mental Health. My goal is to obtain Indiana licensure in both Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT) for Grades 7-12, and World/U.S. History. In the coming years, I hope to rise to a position of leadership in Education. My position as a Student Supervisor at Starbucks has strengthened my skills in leadership, problem-solving, organization, and working in high stress environments. Additionally, I am the Chief College Ambassadors Coordinator at Future Black Leaders Incorporated, an organization dedicated to fostering unity, excellence, and success among black students. I proudly serve as the President of the African American and African Diaspora Studies Undergraduate Student Association at IU, and will serve as the Secretary of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Tau Chapter. I am passionate about my future career in education, and making an impact on future generations.
