- Oversee a team of twenty for Pith Zine, an independent art, poetry & fiction magazine- Direction of launch parties, talent sourcing, and extensive use of Eventbrite - Personally established the zine’s e-commerce presence- Overhauled marketing strategy, social media campaigns and launch parties- Experience of budgeting and profit maximisation- Responsible for performance management and expenditure monitoring

In this role, I was solely responsible for the organisation of the launch parties for every new segment of Pith Zine. For the launch party of Segment #9, 'What's Hiding in the Attic', I found a venue, a traditional Scottish piping band, and two DJs to play throughout the night to celebrate the launch of the new segment. I was responsible for liaising communications between the venue, the rest of the Pith team and the musical acts, as well as promotion of the launch itself in both traditional and digital marketing methods. On the night of the event, I made sure that everything run smoothly, and that there were no technical or logistical hitches, as well as selling our merchandise, new zine and on the door tickets, to raise money in aid of Ukraine. Over 50 people attended, with over £150 going to a good cause.

qmunicate is the official magazine of the Queen Margaret Union at the University of Glasgow, and entirely ran by students. Two printed issues are published a year, as well as two online issues. - Pitched articles to contributors in weekly meetings- Responsible for editing and publication of articles for the award-winning magazine- Contributed reviews & feature pieces- Helped developed skills and knowledge of the magazine’s contributors through feedback- Cover design, using Adobe Creative Studio, Canva and photography

I worked part-time in the home and interior store, Søstrene Grene, located in Altrincham town centre. I have gained experience working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent customer service. I often advise customers on their queries about products and their own home projects. I have gained great communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work in a team, often helping out my colleagues.
