This semester I was selected to participate in Kent State's International Storytelling course. We traveled to Cyprus to report on its culture, conflicts and daily living. One focuses on refugees in Cyprus and the struggle they go through to gain citizenship and the other is about a fisherman, who has AIDS, and the challenges he faces being a fisherman in an area with strict fishing regulations. Now that we're back, I am responsible for managing and designing the website our stories will be hosted on.
