This semester I was selected to participate in Kent State's International Storytelling course. We traveled to Cyprus to report on its culture, conflicts and daily living. As a support member, I took photographs, video and assisted with data reporting for two stories. One focuses on refugees in Cyprus and the struggle they go through to gain citizenship and the other is about a fisherman, who has AIDS, and the challenges he faces being a fisherman in an area with strict fishing regulations.
