In September 20' I was selected as one of 26 individuals globally to take part in WGSN's Future Makers Mentorship Program. The program runs for 6 months in which I am partnered with Fashion Intelligence Director at WGSN who will work with me to provide invaluable knowledge and insight into the trend forecasting world, share experiences of their own career progression and give honest advice and feedback on my own career search. Throughout the course of the mentorship is also the opportunity to attend a course of workshops lead by industry professionals in topics such as networking, giving and receiving feedback and how to get the most out of an interview.

Throughout my time interning at Trend Bible, I gained skills in many aspects of the forecasting and interiors sectors, working alongside my colleagues on consultancy projects for some of the big-name companies in the home and baby and kids interiors sectors. I spent time working on future consumer insight panels, home interior and festive forecast panels, design show reports and takeaways in addition to being heavily involved in the construction, proofing and compiling of the physical and digital trend books that are at the core of the company. I was also exposed to the marketing and sales side of the company, and external experts in the field such as a representative for the Department for International Trade.
