Senior Director Of Food Access And Education
CurrentI lead a team of 12 across two programs, managing a total budget of over $6 million, and positively impacting over 40,000 Texans. I provide strategic oversight and leadership for the Food Access and Education teams, directing the planning, development, and implementation of program strategies in alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives. I manage annual budgets, establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and leverage my experience and content knowledge to spearhead new projects and initiatives. My programs include Texas's statewide nutrition incentive program (Double Up Texas) and SFC's legacy cooking and nutrition education program The Happy Kitchen/La Cocina Alegre.
