I ensured that all the technical aspects of an entire pool during Reddam House Constantia's Water Polo tournaments ran smoothly. I was the main line of communication between technical staff and tournament directors. I ensured the wellbeing of my technical staff and scheduled them during a tournament.

I managed the WPSWP Boys U15 A and B teams as well as their coaches in 2022 and in 2023 and currently work for the Boys U19 A and B team in 2024. I worked in an administrative position where I was required to communicate with players, coaches, parents, and upper-management to ensure the best environment and experience for the players before and during the tournament. I was involved in the selection of teams. I was responsible for team logistics, including managing their accommodation, transport, and catering.

I tutored IEB matric biology face-to-face and online.

I assist in preparation of; soil for testing, assays, the assays themselves and various media plates. I also perform the assays, testing and DNA extraction for further analysis. This has allowed me the opportunity to see a science-based business and the opportunities that lie in the future.

I assist the students and Post-Docs in Dr. Verhoog and Prof. Africander's Labs within the Biochemistry Department. This includes assisting with laboratory tasks, including making and running both Western Blot gels and agarose gels, plasmid purification and reading the concentration and purity of both DNA and RNA. I have been trained in the basics of tissue culture, such as; passaging, charcoal stripping, making cryo-stocks and plating of cell lines and currently have a license so that I can help maintain cell lines for the students and Post-Docs. I also shadow the students and Post-Docs in more complex tasks.

I facilitated communication between the students and the lecturer during the semester. I was able to problem solve with the lecturer to ensure a pleasant and mutually respectful environment for all parties.

The Science Ambassadors at Stellenbosch University is a programme that teaches young scientists how to network, communicate and brand themselves to future employers and colleagues. We were taught about branding, basic business acumen and entrepreneurship through the Career's Office and LaunchLab. Networking and community work was encouraged through the ambassadors volunteering at functions such as Stellenbosch University Open Day and Science Week.

I worked as a lab assistant for Prof. Wesaal Khan, her post-doctoral and post-graduate students by assisting with laboratory tasks for them. I gained invaluable insight into what post-graduate work is and I learned essential skills in a laboratory that I would have otherwise not had in my ordinary studies.

I coached junior and senior players every week with a team of coaches. I also assisted with administration when required.
