I am a USATF Level 2 certified endurance coach with 8 years of NCAA coaching experience. In my free time, I enjoy racing and training, bicycle touring, camping, reading, playing my violin, and scrapbooking.I graduated magna cum laude from Eastern Mennonite University with a degree in Biology. At EMU, I served as the XC/TF Captain and as the Chair of the SAAC. In 2016, I was honored to be named a Top-30 Honoree for the NCAA Woman of the Year award. One formative experience was serving on EMU's Presidential Search Committee, where I had the opportunity to work with an incredible group of people.From 2016-19, I worked in the nonprofit space in Atlanta. I ran semi-professionally, volunteered regularly, and served on the Board's Health Committee for Atlanta Track Club. I got my MBA from the University of Florida, where I served as a Graduate Assistant T&F Coach. I also served as the Chair of the O'Connell Center (O-Dome) Advisory Board and President of the UF MBA Women in Business Club. I was a member of the Florida Track Club Board of Directors and of the Church Council at Emmanuel Mennonite Church. Following grad school, I was hired as the Women's XC Coach at Brown University, where I also served on the Staff Advisory Council and trained with Rhode Island Track Club. This led me to my current position with Amherst College as the Head Men's and Women's XC Coach, where I'm able to continue to live out my passion of helping young people develop confidence and resilience through athletics.
