An early-career ocean researcher dedicated to understanding and highlighting the pivotal role of culture in ocean conservation. Actively collaborating with projects and communities to integrate cultural and natural elements into ocean management frameworks alongside conducting research for a collaborative doctoral partnership with Stirling and Edinburgh universities.Head of Creative for SeaVoice, a platform exploring the intersection between culture and water, amplifying diverse voices in blue spaces. An online magazine and annual book, this initiative is part of the Ocean Decade Heritage Network’s Cultural Heritage Framework Programme, an official action of the UN Ocean Decade in partnership with PEW Bertarelli Ocean Legacy, Edinburgh Ocean Leaders, and Edinburgh University.I am dedicated to making marine conservation science accessible to a broad audience. This commitment is evident in my PhD research, my roles at CHFP and SeaVoice, my work as a snorkel and dive guide, and in my personal efforts to share the beauty and importance of our blue planet through conversations and social media 🌍🩵
