My love for communication emerged after a realization that it is at the center of everything we do as human beings. I am passionate about connecting with people and using my skills to find new and innovative ways to effectively communicate with audiences. I have a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in integrated strategic communication/public relations and multimedia communications with a certificate in race, gender, and society. My prior work experience includes customer service, communication, public relations, and working hands-on with customers and co-workers. I have experience and interest in professional writing, social media management/production, social media analytics, media relations, public relations, inter-strategic communication, and marketing. I have had the opportunity to develop further as a professional through interning with Student Veterans of America in the Communication and Marketing department. I have developed my skills in many areas including creating and executing communication plans, generating social media engagement, and increasing reach and impressions. I have gained vast knowledge and skills in using social media to promote company objectives as well as creating visual content such as videos, graphics, invitations, etc. During my time at UW-Eau Claire I was the Director of Communications for Student Senate where I led a team of interns and commission members, as well as the Communication and Journalism Department Social Media Intern.
