Among my responsibilities during this internship, my favorite was writing original news stories about developments in the Church. These assignments often allowed me to interview people from around the world and relay their stories. Some of the highlights of my four-month internship include • writing eleven original articles that were published in Church News, LDS Church magazines, and digital articles;• editing and packaging over 100 article submissions to conform to the Church’s style guide o (I often used Adobe Photoshop to color correct and crop photos according to in-house standards.); and •creating daily tweets and Facebook posts on Percolate for three of the Church’s social media accounts; I also completed all posts at least three months ahead of scheduled posting times

When I worked at Boostability, a digital marketing company, I • revised existing copy and wrote original copy for hundreds of business websites to promote SEO;• conducted research on target audiences and various industries (e.g. engineering, medicine, mechanics) to create effective, accurate marketing content for more than 240 websites;• helped to copyedit for other peers according to the AP Style Guide; and • received week-long cross trainings on the quality assurance team, Duda design team, and GoDaddy publishing team
