Working full-time as a research assistant and communication consultant, I provide research and communication support to clients in the higher education and not-for-profit sectors across a wide array of fields. This work involves tight time frames (often returning files within 24–36 hours) and managing multiple projects simultaneously. The ability to assimilate information on a range of highly technical and theoretical concepts or business areas is critical. Developing strong relationships and networks of practitioners and academics across a broad array of research areas has been a key part of my success. I am currently also studying in the field of Criminology and Criminal Justice and have an interest in social networking analysis in this field.

Employed on a 3-month contract, work for JAG included developing a sentencing awareness strategy for Queensland Courts, reviewing Office of Fair Trading consumer rights information and providing a report for the Consumer Safety Committee.

Responsible for managing the communication and complaints management functions including strategic planning, customer satisfaction research, business improvement projects and branding.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and General Manager Marketing, I managed the communication for all departments encompassing internal communication,corporate, disability services, retail, lotteries, fundraising and business services.

Media Dynamics (formerly the Christopher Beck Group) is a full service media company incorporating two main divisions: Christopher Beck Communications (focussing on marketing and public relations) and Christopher Beck Books (publishing for business). My responsibilities included working on majorpublications and books as well as public relations initiatives.
