I helped the International Services team plan events for international students. My main role was to design promotional event materials, using desktop publishing software to create flyers, brochures, images, and logos. I also marketed these events on social media. I designed and edited annual reports, a cultural handbook for international students, a content strategy, and a general orientation online training.

I interned for Xavier's Office of Marketing and Communications, where I brainstormed story ideas; interviewed faculty, staff, alumni, and students; and wrote and edited articles for Xavier's magazines, newsletters, and website. I also compiled and revised the bi-weekly, internal newsletter through Xavier's content management system.

I helped plan all of GIPC’s events, including Executive Committee and Board of Directors meetings, the annual Whistler Award Breakfast, and GIPC’s 50th Anniversary Celebration; I promoted GIPC through social media, its website, and its monthly newsletter, which I established and maintained each month; and I managed financial information for 23 City projects and programs.

I worked with the development team to research and write grant proposals, authored descriptions for event activities (e.g., silent auction), and assisted with various sustainability initiatives.

I helped the doctor and staff with administrative operations of the dental office, specifically the transition from a paper to an electronic system. I transferred patient data to the Eaglesoft program and also created user manuals for the staff. Additionally, I coordinated the operatory schedule, arranged patient and doctor appointments, managed incoming calls, and assisted with dental operations, as needed.

I helped students develop and polish their writing skills in one-on-one tutoring sessions. I worked with Xavier students from all disciplines at any stage of the writing process.

I served as an editor on the student advisory board for Xavier's Journal of Undergraduate Research. I reviewed student submissions in academic research and special projects in the College of Arts and Sciences. Along with the other editors, I chose projects to publish in the journal and also offered suggestions to the authors.
