About Hannah Lee
Growing up I was obsessed with people, how people think, why people behave in a certain way and how every single one of us interacts with the communities that we live, work and exist in differently but still try to gain a sense of belonging. In my small world it felt like a huge juxtaposition, I have spent my career trying to figure it out. What brings out the best in people? How can communities work together to solve problems? What barriers are put in people's way when they do not confirm to societal norms or values? Since completing my post graduate studies I have been leading organisations to support individuals in times of need through community service delivery, engagement, and stewardship. My previous experiences have brought me to my most recent role as a Community Organisation Consultant I help organisations understand the art of the possible, supporting them to work through the unique challenge that comes when turning their not for profit vision into reality. I coach leaders and teams to push the boundaries of their organisations throughout their transformation journeys in doing so deepening long lasting impact and creating the conditions that give rise to powerful and engaging organisational cultures.I am not afraid of stepping into the unknown and working in sectors I am unfamiliar with, the greatest benefit I bring to organisations is a fresh set of eyes and wealth of external experiences ensuring I can find find both a successful and sustainable way of meeting goals. A fresh perspective. A new way of looking at old problems. But most importantly, energy and ability to form a solid vision of the possible for people, donors, and beneficiaries. When I am not working with community organisations you will normally find me walking hill climbing on the South West Coast Path or exploring the wilds of Dartmoor. A northerner by birth - some traditions are never too far from my mind or my heart, I am Rugby League Superfan and Fish and Chip Supper aficionado - has to be haddock though!Big or small I am here to make a difference to people who need it the most, join me.
