Clinical Experience:• Completed 600 hours of inpatient clinical rotation where I implemented MNT to a wide variety of patients in units including cardiovascular, geriatric, GI/surgery, neurosciences, oncology, renal, pediatrics, neonatal ICU, and adult ICU/critical care• Obtained 200 hours of outpatient experience at where I provided individualized counseling in clinics including: 1) OB/GYN Clinic with adult patients with obesity and prenatal issues, 2) Medical Homes working with adults with comorbidities such as DM, CVD, and obesity, and 3) Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic with patients who previously underwent stem-cell transplants Staff Relief Experience:• Provided care to an average of 15 patients daily during 4-week staff relief rotation on oncology and general medicine floors where I engaged in daily interdisciplinary rounds, utilized motivational interviewing techniques to provide individualized counseling, and calculated enteral nutrition orders for patients requiring alternate form of nutrition support Community Experience:• Developed curriculum, created handouts, and presented educational information at various community settings including Head Start Program, Crossroads Diabetes Camp, Facing Forward, and Senior Center Site• Collaborated with a psychologist to provide nutrition education tailored to participants involved in the Stress Eating Therapy Group Food Service Experience:• Completed 10 weeks functioning as a member of the food service team in three kitchens: patient meal kitchen, cafeteria kitchen, and upscale dining kitchen• Developed, marketed, and implemented a new cafeteria item adhering to specific nutrient requirements sold in the cafeteria Management Experience:• Worked as part of a team to develop and present a 9-month hospital-wide nutrition wellness and education program
