My research studies ion channel dysregulation in neurodevelopmental disorders via electrophysiology and structural proteomics. So far, I've led projects titled "An Investigation of NaV1.2 Channel Dysregulation in Autism Spectrum Disorder" and "An Integrative Analysis of SCN2A Mutations and PIP2 Modulation in Autism and Epilepsy." My position is a paid co-appointment under the Plant and Logothetis/Cui labs and is fully funded under PEAK awards (Ascent Summer 2024 and Summit Fall 2024) from the Undergraduate Research and Fellowship Office at Northeastern University. Under the mentorship of Drs. Batishchev and Altunkaynak, I play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our physics research and educational activities. My responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks that are vital to maintaining a well-organized and efficient laboratory environment, supporting both students and faculty in their scientific endeavors.This position has allowed me to deepen my interest in physics research, providing hands-on experience in a laboratory setting and a deeper understanding of the experimental side of physics. I take pride in contributing to the foundational work that supports the learning and discovery process in the field of physics.

I am state-licensed, PTCB CPht-certified, and APhA immunization-certified. As the first minor ever to work in my community CVS, I have the unique experience of being an essential healthcare worker while in high school. In my understaffed pharmacy, I fill scripts, compound drugs, process insurance, assist in multilingual interpretation, and administer immunizations.

I tutor students on subjects in which I have had success, such as Physics and Chemistry, working with them to foster a deeper understanding and improve their independent study strategies. I see around 5-10 students each week.

Hired while I was still in middle school, I cleaned, regulated food production, oversaw stock fulfillment, and aided customers.
