Hi there! I am a committed and enthusiastic elementary school teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons to elementary students. My classroom will foster an inclusive environment that meets the students where they are, while encouraging them to grow into their fullest potential. My ultimate goal is to shape students into critical thinkers through becoming digital citizens and life-long learners through collaboration, strength-based learning, and encouragement. In December of 2022, I completed student teaching and graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Masters of Arts: Learning and Technology. Previously, I graduated from Cal State University Long Beach in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Language Arts. Before this achievement, I had the experience of coaching competitive swim and water safety for ages one through 12 for four years which helped me find my passion in teaching students. I am currently working as a substitute teacher in Newport Mesa Unified School District and Fountain Valley School District. I have completed two long-term substitute placements in Kindergarten and Second grade. When I substitute for short-term placements, I cover for teachers grades TK through eighth grade. I am able to follow sub plans, brainstorm when additional engagement is needed, manage classroom behaviors, and more. Some hobbies of mine are reading, learning about history, traveling, yoga, hiking, going to Disneyland, and much more!
