My main role is to source new conference and events business for The Point, an exciting events suite and one of the largest events facilities in the North West, at Emirates Old Trafford. Also to continue a good relationship with existing clients.Additional to sales activity I am responsible for hosting FAM trips, entertaining clients at events, holding Conference Open Days and exhibiting and attending exhibitions and events.

I currently sit on The Quays Conference Sub-Group which is a group of venues - including Emirates Old Trafford, Imperial War Museum North, The Lowry, The Copthorne Hotel and Hotel Football - to promote The Quays as a conference and events destination. I work closely with the other Quays venues to deliver FAM trips, exhibit at Meet The Buyer Events and exhibitions and promote the area.

I was responsible for sourcing venues for clients depending on their event requirements and worked with all the Greater Manchester venues in membership and built a good relationship with them which was essential. Good knowledge was required on the venues event facilities to make sure the clients requirements and needs were met.
