At Aspen Creek, we care for both large and small animals. As an intern, I perform many tasks to help out the friendly staff. Some of which include cleaning and sterilizing surgical tools/equipment, exercising organization when tidying operation and exam rooms, injecting vaccines into small and large animals under a veterinarian's supervision, administering the restrain of small and large animals during minor procedures and examinations, assisting examining fecal, urine, and blood samples and addressing the care of patients before, during and after surgical procedure/examination by monitoring vital signs and anesthesia. I'm proud to have been provided the opportunity to draw blood and inject vaccines into small and large animals. My addition to the staff has benefited Aspen Creek Veterinary Hospital by maintaining a clean workspace for DVMs and Techs while accelerating examination time due to having a helping hand on deck.
