I completed my Associate's degree at Florida Gulf Coast University while simultaneously earning my high school diploma from Fort Myers High School through the ACE dual enrollment program. From there, I transferred to USF to pursue my engineering studies. I graduated from the University of South Florida in August 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a focus in Structural Engineering. While at USF, I was the Secretary for the USF Engineering Ambassadors, which is an organization that represents and promotes the USF engineering department by hosting events and providing tours to prospective students, parents, families, and other guests interested in the program. I also maintained an internship position throughout my undergraduate studies which gave me experience working in the Transportation Engineering sector, constructing plans for clients such as FDOT, Hillsborough County, and Pinellas County using drafting software such as AutoCAD and Microstation. After graduation, I accepted a full-time position as a Project Engineer for a general contracting company, which has allowed me to utilize my technical knowledge and develop my estimation, project management, and leadership skills. Through this position, I wish to continue my educational journey by gaining valuable field experience, allowing me to be a life-long learner and better serve my community.
