I am currently a third-year student enrolled in research psychology at Brock University. After I complete my thesis in my final year with a focus on emotional health research, I aspire to get a master's in Psychology to have the opportunity to expand my knowledge in psychology and apply this research to improve the lives of others. With a focus on mental health, I desire to assess, diagnose and treat individuals with mental health and addiction issues.As a supervisor at Tim Hortons, I am continuing to learn from my community and environments. I provide a safe environment for team members to learn, help others, and feel welcome. Communicating with guests and team members is essential as I ensure that everyone has a good positive experience. As I manage my team, I consistently maintain high standards of self-confidence, being understanding and quick problem-solving to guide others.Through volunteering in the community, I assisted with strong detail orientation, leadership and quick grasping in many situations. When I supervised students at school or coached them at the YMCA, it was crucial to maintain a safe environment and adapt to any changes. Being adaptable and eager to learn continues through my journey as I become more educated and disburse my skills toward my passions in psychology.I believe the experiences I adapt from my work, volunteering and university will continuously define my skill set. I am determined to expand my skills by pursuing new adventures that will enhance my ambitions and goals.
