Relocating to the German manufacturing site of Lush to work in the start-up accounts team. Tasks- Maintaining supplier accounts and the AP invoices, issuing petty cash and cash expenses along with various company credit card statements, checking control accounts such a prepayments and reconciling the intercompany accounts. Other responsibilities included running a monthly stock check of the factory’s 11 rooms and producing staff with stock wastage reports. Achievements and skills- Initiative based role as the team was one year old. I implemented processes within the finance and buying team to ensure efficiency and accuracy with the buying of stock. Examples of these are issuing the buyers with a report that showed un-invoiced stock and training them on the 3-way match invoicing authorisation method.
