Zeer ervaren (15+ jaar) brand-en (marketing)communicatie manager. In mijn carrière heb ik mooie merken mogen helpen met hun strategische positionering, campagnes en portfolio’s. Ik breng daarin vaart en visie. Zowel bij de ontwikkeling van een nieuwe merkstrategie of campagne, ben ik een all-rounder. Het heeft mijn voorkeur van concept tot executie betrokken te zijn. Ook blij van: lezen, wandelen in de natuur, kickboksen, arthouse-films en 90’s hiphop.

At the time (and still) I was drawn to the crisis that emerged with the big influx of refugees trying to reach Europe, facing dangerous travels and crossings. I first started out volunteering for the Red Cross in a crisis shelter in Amsterdam. After a while I got involved with a new grassroot organization ‘Because We Carry’. I started out building their social community, created content and managed all conversations. Just before Christmas I traveled to Lesvos, Greece, expanding my involvement by serving as a field officer. Organizing the daily food and clothes distribution and helping the organization to increase it’s funds by all sorts of donations that were needed to be able to help as much as possible. Throughout this period we tried to get a lot of free publicity for this cause, resulting in publications in i.e. het Parool, Grazia, the Guardian and EenVandaag. Show less
