If you’re autistic or have ADHD (or a winning combination of the two like me) then you probably spend a lot of your time feeling overwhelmed. You probably feel inundated with small tasks. Think death by a thousand cuts. From a very young age, I knew I was different. I knew my brain was weird and not accepted as normal. I knew this because it’s what peers and adults told me. You probably know how much that sucks. As I got older, my desire to ensure that no one around me ever felt as lost and alone as I did guided my relationships and decisions. After graduating from university in 2014, I decided to become a teacher. It was the only career that felt like a good fit for my passions for service and education. Teaching took me to France and Italy, and I worked with students of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. I’m so grateful for those experiences and everyone I met along the way.But it became increasingly clear that the chaos and intense masking involved with working in a school wasn’t for me. I became so stressed that I was hospitalised.I’m telling you all of this to show you that I understand the pitfalls of being a neurodivergent adult trying to survive in this world.Whether you work full time and have a side hustle, or you’re on the entrepreneur grind 24/7, we all have similar struggles.Work environments that don’t work for us, colleagues who don’t get it, brains that just can’t seem to conform to anything described as “normal”.But what if you don’t have to conform? What if you could find tools and services designed to meet you where you are?I started my business because while there are many neurodivergent entrepreneurs, very few services are designed with us in mind.Everything I’ve done since I started my business in 2021 has been in pursuit of serving the neurodivergent community and helping business owners go from chaos to calm.I’m driven by the need to make people’s lives easier. Maybe that next person is you.
