I managed editorial, proofing, and production processes for an award-winning, thrice-yearly general-interest university magazine with a circulation of more than 63,000. We just rebuilt our digital magazine in Wordpress.I wrote and managed content for university social media channels and other university campaigns.I ran editorial board meetings; wrote, edited, and fact-checked articles; coached writers, including university professors from all fields; and hired freelance writers. I worked with the art director to hire freelance illustrators and photographers; consulted on graphic design, and entered corrections in Adobe InDesign.And I supervised the student editorial assistant.Began as managing editor in February 2010, was promoted to editor in 2016.
