Contract role assisting with legal directories and marketing collateral.

Responsible for project managing all firm wide tender responses. This included developing project plans, liaising with partners and relevant teams, content writing and drawing out the best information from partners. I developed tables and diagrams to display complex information in a concise and easily understood context. I conducted a tender debrief on the unsuccessful tender. Maintained the firm "Tender Bank".Achievements include:- 90% success rate on tenders I led for the firm. This included maintaining several key client accounts where the legal panels were being significantly decreased, and winning a new Government client for the firm's Employment team.- Led the firm Bio Project which included the creation of 310 new K&L Gates bios. This project was led over many months but accumulated with a tight turn around of eight days for the bios to be sent to all legal staff, collected, proofed and sent to the States in time for the official merger day and launch of website.- Developed strong relationships with led partners and teams with whom I worked with on tenders.

Wellington

As the National Tender Manger I was a senior member of the Business Development team, based in the Wellington office. Along with the focus on tenders I also looked after the Key Client accounts for the Wellington office, worked on the new website project and provided general marketing support to the Wellington office. My role included coordinating and prepare the firm’s response to formal tenders and requests for client-specific proposals. This included advising on all the different stages of tender submissions including qualifying the opportunity, development of persuasive key messages, pricing strategies, writing content, presentation support, and evaluation and reporting. This position also required a focus on continuous improvement of processes to meet the current and future needs of the firm, resulting in an improved tender success rate.
