As the Vice President of Member Development for the Zeta Nu Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma at UCSD, I work to foster the personal and professional growth of our members. I work with members directly to provide support, resources, and opportunities for to thrive at UCSD academically, socially, and professionally. In this role, I am passionate about building an empowering and inclusive sisterhood committed to excellence and lifelong learning. Additionally as a Vice president, I serve on the Executive Board and oversee the Membership development department. This department includes DEI Director, Member Engagement Director, and Senior Engagement Director. As the head of the debarment, I oversee department functions, serve as a member of the standards committee, and serve as the voice for the department. I work with other members on our executive board to coordinate the senior member and new member experience and the programing for all members.My main focus, in this role, is to develop, plan, and implement comprehensive member development programs that address the diverse needs and interests of our members. This includes leadership development, personal growth, career readiness, and wellness. I work to mentorship programs which work to connect active members to the kappa network which extends beyond college. These connections foster professional growth and skill development.

As the Member Engagement Director for the Zeta Nu Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma, at UCSD, I served as the connecting individual between active members and the new member class. In this role, I worked to foster a strong sense of community and involvement among our new members and played a key role in integrating new members into the chapter. I specifically developed and planned initiatives which aided in upholding member engagement, retention, and satisfaction.In this role, I revamped and oversaw the New Member Experience program as directed by Kappa Kappa Gamma Nationals. I collaborated with the New Member experience committee and coordinating officers to plan and execute Bid Day. Additionally, I served as a mentor to new members and supported them in their transition into Kappa and their transition in UCSD.

In this role, I worked with others around to express and uphold the values of the Kappa Kappa Gamma, Zeta Nu chapter, fraternity. I communicated effectively with other chapter council members to plan events, uphold alumni relations, and hosted educational programming events.My main focus in this role was to organize and conduct all sorority ritual ceremonies, including initiation, installation of officers, and special formal meetings. Additionally, I worked to ensure ritual practice and execution was preformed respectfully, according to fraternity protocols and guidelines. Finally, in this role I worked directly with newly initiated members to learn the rituals of the fraternity.

I also administered basic life support including CPR, airway management, splinting, oxygen administration, and bandaging. Additionally, I worked to improve the gym environment by positively interacting with management and gym members while completing shift tasks such as cleaning equipment, maintaining a safe workout environment, and escalating conflicts.
