About Hannah Bricker

I am a New York University and Texas State University graduate with a decade of experience in inclusive education. I currently work at the Rise School of Austin, a high-quality and entirely inclusive preschool. I’m a believer that leadership can arise from any position, and while teaching I’ve also served as a special education learning specialist, inclusion coach, classroom teacher and co-teacher, and literacy director. Recently, I have shifted my focus towards professional development, working as a school administrator and earning my Master’s Degree in Talent Development. I’ve also been an active member of the educational technology community, formerly working as a Professional Development Trainer for Learning Ally, app reviewer for BridgingApps, and a contractor for Region 13 Educational Service Center in Central Texas. I am currently on the Advisory Board of the SXSWedu Conference held annually in Austin, TX. Access to high-quality education should be a promise to all students, not a privilege for some.
