Hey there,I'm Hannah. Currently, I'm a Co-Founder of 2 companies: Oak Theory & Southpaw Stitches. 📍 But let me take you back to the beginning.🇰🇷 Born in Korea, I moved to the states at the ripe age of 8 and moved to Queens, NY the most diverse county in the world.🗽 Growing up in Queens, I experienced first hand how cultures blend and how they create new. It was normal to hear 3 languages at the neighborhood's Cuban-Chinese restaurants. Elders from different cultures stretching together at the corner park at dawn. Curiosity about other cultures brought me to college. There, I learned Arabic for four years and studied abroad in Amman, Jordan. I learned this at age 8: we humans share the same needs. We all want to be loved, heard, and seen.📸 My love and passion for human storytelling grew through college and through my 20s. I ended up pursuing my curiosity and I…- 🚐 Toured the road for 7-weeks from Austin to Seattle living in a van telling stories about the NK people- 🏫 Opened up college chapters for a NPO that built schools in the slums of Kenya- 🧘🏻‍♀️ I got certified to teach yoga. Then, I designed a trauma-informed program for sex trafficking survivors in NYC.- 👾 I designed & built software products that were user friendlyThe main thread? Connecting with people, telling stories, and building creative solutions. Which brings me now to today where I lead a digital design studio driven by diverse perspectives. What I've seen is true.
