The influence of good interior design is often undervalued. At a basic level, good design combines visual appeal and functionality to create a space suited to its purpose. The creation of atmosphere has the power to shape the way people think and feel and it’s the relationship between people and space that fascinates me. Commercial spaces create a sense of community, people with similar interests and purpose come together in a single space. This is where design always comes back to the relationship between the user and the space and being flexible to adapt to the needs of the project.
