Compliance Coordinator
CurrentA full-service financial institution that provides the community unique value through a personalized local banking alternative. - Responsible for coordinating the preparation of all internal and external audits and regulatory examinations.- Responsible for maintaining audit work papers and documentation, as required by Velocity’s record retention policy.- Actively participate with departments for continuous improvement and maintenance of existing policies and procedures based on regulatory changes, internal audits, and examinations by regulatory agencies.- Serve as the primary contact for Velocity’s vendor management program, as the VM coordinator. Responsible for maintaining Velocity’s Vendor Management application.- Responsible for maintaining up-to-date documentation for all credit union vendors.- Facilitate signature collection for Vendor Management contracts.- Assist the VP of Compliance/Risk Management with all credit union and its subsidiaries insurances and bonds. Including, making sure Velocity is in compliance with regulation.- Responsible for coordinating the Credit Union renewal insurance and bond renewals, finalizing preparation for the VP of Compliance/Risk Management to review and approve.- Maintain all insurance and bond records.- Coordinate the renewals of all insurance and bonds, as needed. This includes seeking additional information from department heads to analyze the need and limits of coverage.- Maintain the complaints inbox and assign the department head to research and provide response on any formal regulatory agency (CUD, NCUA OCC, etc.) or BBB complaints filed by members. - Responsible for seeking approval of the complaint response from CEO and/or VP of Compliance/Risk Management and meeting the deadline to submit response to the appropriate agency(ies).- Assist with preparation and distribution of any compliance related board material.- Prepares reports required for VP Compliance/Risk Management.
