They define strategy for their category to offer best selection and drive sales growth. They produce weekly trading reports on key KPI’s including GPM, AOV, advertising spend, conversion and best sellers in order to react to changes in trends and forecasts. They are responsible for managing a team that onboard new suppliers, negotiate best terms with suppliers (wholesale cost, lead-time etc) with existing suppliers and deal with day to day business issues.As central project managers, they work with all teams to ensure everyone is working towards a common growth agenda. This includes advising the advertising team on which suppliers to push, the marketing team on which SKUs to use in prime real estate and the daily sales team on products to feature in promotions. Excepting the MD, I represented the company as the sole Account Manager and Sales Manager for B2C lists. I held a portfolio of 2 key and 40+ clients, project managing their full media planning and replicating the successful model abroad. Managing existing clients to a bespoke standard, I also recruited new business. Planning and buying for clients specific needs, I worked to the idea that often the best solutions are not the most obvious.

Creatively generating and increasing commercial partners, I month on month reached and exceeded company targets: through a consultative approach to client management and sales. I proved the ability to sell new business and create proposals based on commercial acumen, adapting to each given sales situation. Working as the lead Sales Consultant on the launch of Black Label, I made myself a vital part of Groupon’s strategic marketing and business plans, creating from scratch an attractive advertising platform. Having demonstrated excellent consultation, intra and inter personal skills, I highlighted my ability to work both individually and as part of the Groupon flagship team.
