I am currently teaching at North Summit High School. I have experience in a wide variety of art subjects and have the ability to adapt any situation to create an art experience for my students. As a teacher, I believe we are more than the subjects we teach. I bring a unique perspective to this school with my out of the box thinking and my passion for design. I also believe it is our responsibility to be our best influence to our students and be their personal champion. I bring all expressions of life to the subjects I teach and emphasize on the importance of life goals and never settling for anything less than our own personal greatness. I teach a wide range of subjects: Art Foundations, Commercial Art, Fine Art, Photography, Ceramics/Sculpture, and Yearbook. I am skilled in these areas and I also sell my own art work on the side. Unique, functional one of kind hand thrown pottery pieces. I love ceramics because it brings functional art into our everyday. I also take wedding, senior and family, and sports photography pictures. I bring my own individual flare into all the art I design. The photos I take fall into a fine art feel with the way I am able to capture the emotions happening during that time. My style is to capture the moment, what ever that moment may be. It's our "moments" through out the day that are the most memorable. To me, human emotion is the most beautiful of all art. With my photography, I focus on capturing the emotion and spirit of the person, the light that shines behind their eyes.

To teach hundreds of high schoolers yearly to be great artists and to trust in the process of creativity. Teach them learn fine art, graphic design, photography, hand building pottery and wheel thrown ceramics, and we create the yearbook.
