At Hudson Automotive I had the opportunity to immerse myself as part of the IT Team. I audited multiple software user lists, focusing on identifying and validating the status of terminated and active employees. My efforts led to the discovery and removal of thousands of terminated employees who still had access to various software systems, including around 400 users in one system. I aided in developing a system user audit template to streamline the process of gathering, documenting, and reviewing user data, making it easier to disable access for terminated employees. I gained experience with Qlik, worked daily with Excel, and sorted through Microsoft 365 licensing for both terminated and active employees. I played a key role in building out a company intranet/employee communications portal, leading the initial creation and contributing to the development of the intranet/SharePoint site for the company.These tasks provided me with hands-on experience in IT management, data validation, and system auditing, enhancing my technical skills and understanding of IT infrastructure.
