About Hannah Wisman
I am a December 2014 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies and Environmental Studies. After working in Outdoor Education for a few years, I began working within the school system and obtained my Cross Categorical Special Education Teaching License (4K-12th) through CESA 6's Residency in Teacher Education program. After spending 5 years as a Special Education teacher my career path surprised me with an opportunity to move back into the camping world as the Camp Director at Camp Anokijig. I have been so fortunate to have had the opportunity to explore multiple avenues within my career path, all of which have fostered my passion and drive to create learning opportunities for youth. I approach each of my jobs with a focus on expanding inclusion, creating community, and fostering positive personal growth and values in myself as well as the people around me.
