I’m an enthusiastic, approachable person who likes to work in a very efficient manner. I am a Lego Serious Play Facilitator and enjoy bringing an element of fun to meetings. I am passionate about wellbeing and diversity. I am a graduate of the 2016 Be.Leadership program.In 2015 I formed The Therapy Box, a charity that supports Diversional Therapists and people residing in aged care facilities. In 2017 we launched what we believe is a New Zealand first; an aged care activity library. We were runners up in the 2018 Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards and finalists in the 2020 Zero Waste Awards (Innovation Category). I have set up 19 aged care activity libraries throughout New Zealand.I am committed to growing privately owned New Zealand businesses and not-for-profits through best practice governance. I have brought a diverse, innovative perspective to the boards on which I have served and have ensured that new ideas and concepts are looked at and considered. I have a broad skillset in wellbeing, safety, injury management and governance. With experience within the residential care and temporary traffic management industries, I can add value to many organisations. My networks are deepest in Auckland. I bring energy and diverse thinking to the board table with a keen eye for risk. I am known for frequently offering considerations that are overlooked by long standing members with traditional thought processes, as well as seeing opportunity in otherwise routine activity.
