Promoted to Managing Director

Part of the Nordic Sales Leadership team where I specialize on large and strategic deals, in the range of $5- 100m. Responsible for the Sales process incl. strategy, contracting, commercial negotiations, solution approach, internal approval process etc. The work is cross industry and technologies in the Nordic region, working closely with our Nordic Sales Director and Business and Country Area leads.

This is an operational role where I was responsible for one of Accenture’s Finance functions. I started as Specialist, promoted, and I led the team from 2016. During my time I grow the team from 6 to 15 members locally. The function is based out of Stockholm covering the Nordic region, with support teams in Poland and India. The team is part of the sales pursuit process for new deals/ contracts in the Nordics, both organic and inorganic, where the team has the responsibility for the commercial strategy and set up. The work includes business advisory on commercial and financial strategy with a focus on profitable growth. Specialist in Joint venture structures, business transfers and BOT/ Captive set ups. In this role I worked closely with our Nordic leadership team, especially CFO, Head of Legal and our Sale Director. The role is client facing with focus on commercial negotiations. It covers regularly presenting complex financials to our C-suite Europe leadership as well as Global leadership. The work is cross industry and technologies in the Nordic countries. Analyst at Swedbank Corporate Finance / Investment banking that handles M&A and ECM (Equity Capital Market) transactions for Swedbank’s clients. The work consisted of pitching new opportunities as well as project management in active M&A and ECM (primarily IPOs) transactions. Important part of the work was to perform sector analysis to identify new potential M&A and ECM opportunities. Certified Advisor at Nasdaq. Skills: solid understanding of the M&A /ECM processes, valuations (DCF, LBO etc), Excel, Powerpoint, Bloomberg.

Manager for the Nordic corporate loan portfolio that was previously ABN Amro. Recruited to handle the day to day operations but primarily a larger integration project where we integrated the ABN AMRO loan portfolio to RBS systems and centralized the Nordic operations to Stockholm. Had to quickly learn the loan market and the various products in the portfolio, such as revolving credits, term loans, bridge loans and export credits (SEK/EKN) as well as the underlying systems. Part of RBS young leadership program. Lead for a team of ~6 members. Skills: project management, leadership, consolidation, legal regulations, understanding of the loan market and related systems.

Analyst at Kaupthing Corporate Finance which helped Kaupthings clients with their M&A/ECM activities. Important part of the work was to perform sector analysis to identify new potential M&A and ECM opportunities. Skills: understanding of the M&A process, valuations (DCF, LBO etc), Excel, Powerpoint, Bloomberg.

Internship (20 hours per week parallel with studies at EBS) at the corporate development department at SEB AG Germany. Part of a project team within Merchant banking.
