Over 2,000 internal and external stakeholders were engaged in 2017 when the ministry started an ambitious transformation journey that improved the way the organisation worked. Staff engagement increased 7% (above industry average) in the first year compared to the previous year. The transformation achieved self-sustained phase in 2019 when the change practices were owned and improved (!) by local teams across the state.
