CurrentFacilitate development of annual plan and report for one of the Nation’s largest housing authorities, including a process redesign that encourages collaboration across the agency. Collaborate with senior vice presidents to develop funding and policy flexibility requests from HUD to allow the agency to operate more efficiently and effectively. Deputy supervise policy overhaul for public housing and voucher programs to improve agency efficiency and serve additional households. Support Chief of Staff response to HUD’s onsite review to address findings and improve agency operations, including project managing and drafting responses and coordinating follow-ups. Research policy options by consulting with peer agencies, HUD and legal counsel to optimize program policies. Synthesize thousands of pages of policy documents into digestible presentations that facilitate conversation with stakeholders and manage engagement to incorporate input from residents and participants, advocacy organizations, inter-governmental partners, the general public, and the Board. Coordinate action plan to serve additional families, contributing to a positive move-in/moveout ratio. Manage deliverables to local government, including the agency’s Oversight Hearing and input into Federal plans including the Consolidated Plan for affordable housing and Olmstead Plan.
