I got so passionate about solving challenging problems and had fun doing so in teaching, coaching, and now at Trayn. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing new perspectives. I had such a great time being a school teacher and a coach.1.) I thought my dream was to be a school teacher. I love working with young people and providing them with an opportunity to develop and improve their social and physical skills. After my studies, I was so passionate about helping kids learn all about sports, increase their physical literacy, and develop important motor skills. 2.) One of my earliest memories involves preparing a high-performance athlete for his ultimate event, the 1998 Olympic Winter Games. At that time, I couldn't help but the availability of modern technology would have been awesome to streamline my time-consuming task: crafting a fully personalized annual training plan for an alpine skier. 3.) That's how it all began: In 1996, I founded my first company, and we were all immensely proud to launch our first web-based planning platform for coaches in 2000. The next step was founding Individual Sports Solutions GmbH in Vienna in 2008, with a subsidiary in Silicon Valley established in 2014. I'm now working to build Trayn with some amazing people, and I want to make sure it's right for you too! :)4.) My role involves assisting coaches in using our technology to link science with sports performance across all sports and levels. I developed my passion for translating sports science into practical solutions and sharing good ideas.5.) We build tailor-made software solutions for sports clubs and associations so that coaches and therapists can write fully individualized programs for athletes, supply objective feedback, and monitor athletes’ progress. Through a mobile app, athletes can access personalized content at any time and stay in touch with coaches.6.) The software is suitable for any group size, sport, and performance level. Currently, top teams, sports associations, as well as educational institutes and universities in Europe and the USA are using our technology. Few, if any, other platforms come close to this level of programming.7.) I'm happily married with three sons and five grandkids. I love sports and politics, exploring new places, learning about different cultures, and trying to improve my Italian or Spanish. When I'm not doing that, you'll often find me reading, playing the guitar, biking, skiing, or kitesurfing.
