Switzerland

CDQ is a boutique data and analytics advisory firm that started as a spin-off from the University of St. Gallen, HSG. CDQ's customers include leading multinationals like Bosch and Nestlé that want to manage their data like a true strategic asset. As a partner, my responsibilities included:- Acquiring and delivering projects to determine the current maturity level of my client's data management activities and defining the future ambition- Developing strategies and roadmaps to realize the ambition level and translating them into effective operating models, data governance and data quality frameworks - Helping my clients build awareness for data management, supporting the hiring for newly created data and analytics teams and coordinating cross-firm digitization initiatives- Starting and developing strategic partnerships in the analytics, data and IT ecosystem- Representing CDQ as a keynote speaker on data management at various conferences - Managing the sales and marketing approach with top- and bottom-line responsibilityTogether with my team, I helped my client's to implement their digitization strategies and projects. We also reduced operating costs by improving data quality, raised process efficiency and improved reporting accuracy.

Switzerland

At Malik (formerly Management Zentrum St. Gallen), I structured and led projects on strategy development, commercial growth, operational and sales excellence, digitization and leadership development. Working directly with the CEO, CFO and senior leaders, my projects helped support the long-term strategic and operational objectives of my clients.

Tanzania

GIZ is Germany's international development agency and operates in over 120 countries around the world (similar to USAID and DFID). I advised the Government of Tanzania on establishing effective tax collection and financial management practices aimed at reducing poverty at the local level. My work helped a municipality in southern Tanzania increase local tax revenues.

Berlin, Germany

At IBM, I built up the program management office (PMO) for a 7 billion EUR public-private partnership. My work helped the program director and other senior managers to monitor the resource allocation to various projects and run activities more effectively. This resulted in reduced IT consulting costs. I also designed and implemented the financial management processes for a new shared-service center.

Lübeck, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany

MACH is a leading IT consulting firm and SAP's main competitor in the German public sector. As a consultant, I introduced financial and management accounting practices as well as IT solutions into public sector agencies at all levels of government. My work helped to manage the public sector agencies and their services more effectively and efficiently.
