Die rund 350 Mitglieder bestellen den fünf- bis achtköpfigen «Schüür-Rat», welcher wiederum die Geschäftsleitung bestimmt. Insgesamt beschäftigt die «Schüür» zehn Fest- und ca. 50 Teilzeitangestellte.Den Schwerpunkt im Angebot setzt die Schüür vor allem auf "zeitgenössische, hauptsächlich elektronisch verstärkte Musik" in Form von Konzerten und Partys. Allerdings finden in der Schüür auch Lesungen, Tagungen, Vorträge und andere kulturelle und gesellschaftliche Anlässe statt. Die Schüür verfügt über eine "Schüür-Bar" im Parterre, ein Konzert- und Partysaal im ersten Stock sowie einen Garten, der ganzjährig geöffnet ist (Im Sommer mit Gartenbar, im Winter mit Winterbar & Raucherzone). -
