- Review drawings & specifications of commercial construction projects, prepare RFIs- Perform quantity takeoff on takeoff software, estimate labor & material costs and build cost spreadsheet on Excel- Generate bid proposals- Correspond with suppliers for material pricing/quantity of purchases; gather material data sheets/samples and prepare submittals/LOT to forward to GC for approval - Provide site workers with information regarding scope of work, revision/new design, shop drawings, change orders- Perform job walk to ensure work have been done as plans, work with superintendent/foreman to diagnose any issues on site and generate change orders as needed - Receive updates from foreman on men hours and work progress- Perform monthly billing on AIA forms G702/Application & Certification and G703/Continuation Sheet
