I prepared and organised several courses in the general programme of medieval history in the history department at all BA and MA levels.

Temporary research position for six months "Chercheur associé étranger" at the department of Codicology and Library History

The "Stichting Erasmus Festival ’s-Hertogenbosch" consulted with me in compiling a set of books on medieval cosmopolitism to be published in November 2008 at the occasion of the remission of the Erasmus Prize (www.erasmusprijs.org). With Jan de Klerk I conceived and wrote the first of the four books: "Marco Polo’s Boek der wonderen in het prachthandschrift van de Duc de Berry (Paris, BnF, fr. 2810)".

Detached from Leiden University for working on the project of cataloguing the Southern-Netherlandish illuminated manuscripts kept in the Bibliothèque nationale de France (Paris), project financed by the getty Foundation (Los Angeles, USA). Collaboration with Ilona Hans-Collas and Pascal Schandel. The first volume has been published in 2009 (see: http://www.brepols.net/Pages/ShowProduct.aspx?prod_id=IS-9782717723960-1). Two other volumes are forthcoming.

Conservation, classification, and cataloguing of several collections of 19th and 20th century letters, especially the correspondence of the scholar of medieval Dutch literature Willem Lodewijk De Vreese.

Research position, including teaching responsibilities, during which I prepared a dissertation (Gebonden weelde. Productie van geïllustreerde handschriften en adellijk boekenbezit in de Bourgondische Nederlanden (1400-1550), defended on 12 June 2003 at Leiden University.
