Technically skilled since the age of 9.At first mechanics was my field. I have welding and soldering experience, know how to use lathes and milling machines and a number of other metal workshop tools and machines. I've done advanced repairs on cars and other motor vehicles. At the age of 20 I started dabbling with computers on my own. Note that playing games was never an interest: Programming and "investigating" the software and hardware was a lot more interesting. As I had access to a vast selection of early computers, there was a lot to see. I built a base of knowledge that still is valid and allows me to do fairly advanced analysis of embedded systems and software. I've looked into deep details of MS-DOS, AmigaOS and Linux while using Assembly language, C and scripting as tools. In the process I have acquired basic electronics skills, I do measuring and fault finding on among other things microprocessors, memory, CAN and Profibus devices. Also have experience of test, measurement and repair on radio equipment related to cell phone systems. I do solder electronics - for a while I had a license on led-based soldering on surface mounted components, but have now moved on from the tasks that required this to be updated. I'm updated on IPC standards related to soldering. ISO 9000 and related company internal auditing of documents and processes. I do build statistics and write company internal and external reports based on the numbers, related investigations and technical analysis... Technical documents; review and writing.I have had photography as interest since my early teens and have built related knowledge of electronics, mechanics, optics, chemistry and software - including color correct display and printing, calibration and profiling. I do develop photographic film (both B&W and Color) from my film-SLR, scan and post process the negatives into presentable results. I have twenty years of experience within digital photography.
