Philip leads the Communications, Media and Technology Client Group in Accenture Greater China. In this capacity, he is responsible for determining the group’s strategy, as well as leading Accenture’s service to various Communications, Media and Technology clients. Philip is a member of Accenture Greater China Geo Council. Philip joined Accenture in 2000 in Seoul Korea, starting his career as a CRM expert, and became a managing director in 2010. He has vast experiences in strategic planning, process re-engineering, system integration architecture design & development, as well as Marketing ROI optimization. Philip is a pioneer of starting Accenture Greater China’s business in internet industry since 2015, spearheading our penetration initiative into this sector. And till today, he is still leading client work for major accounts in this industry. Philip is also a veteran in high tech industry. He has held leadership roles in Greater China for major global account to help expand Accenture’s 360-degree relationship with the client, leading the client’s worldwide sales channel and operation transformation, as well as account lead for one of the largest high tech clients in China. Philip is also involved in strategic growth initiatives including Venture & Acquisition for Accenture’s inorganic growth in Software and Platforms industry, and Accenture’s China-Japan cross country collaboration initiative, to help Chinese and Japanese clients drive their global market expansion, product innovation and operation efficiency. Philip transferred his home office to Beijing in 2005 and have lived in Beijing and Shanghai ever since. He knows China well and is trilingual: he speaks Chinese, English and Korean. Philip holds Bachelor of Arts from Korea University. He is currently based in Shanghai with his family.
