Customer Support Engineer
Current- Product support engineer Optical EquipmentAt my current position my main tasks can be summarized as certified customer facing support engineer (CTA, RTS engineer), responsible for Optics multi-vendor and Nokia Optics.
- Third Level support, e.g. interfacing R&D/Product Management <-> Local (2nd level) support engineer. (fLucent products ISM/SLM/ADM16/ADMU/AMU).
- Investigate in Lab environment HW/SW issues, if applicable perform onsite Troubleshooting (Japan, Slovakia, Chile and Canada)
- Prepare/execute HW/SW Type Approvals together with customers (SDH/Ethernet (COLT/T-COM)).
- Write Software Release descriptions for SDH Products.
- Develop, document non-standard procedures for HW/SW upgrades.
